About Me
Profile
With a career spanning more than 30 years, Rhonda started out in the private sector, in accounting and financial management. With a keen interest—as early as high school—in the volunteer sectors, a shift towards a specialization in Nonprofit Management was natural. Awareness that her favorite part of her early accounting career was managing and leading people allowed a vocational sweet spot to fully emerge: working in organizational development spheres within the Social Sector. Finding, articulating and managing the unique connections of social realities, community needs and the disciplines of resource development and management, personal growth, leadership development and strategic wisdom—this is where Rhonda works so that effort and Impact come together.
Experience
Work experience includes managing teams in administration, finance and human resources, at Adolph Coors, American Development, and Bede Scientific (now Bruker Corp). She led similar departments for mid-sized nonprofits in various sub-sectors, including child abuse prevention, women’s global empowerment and peer-driven EAP organizations.
Rhonda has been working with organizations for the past 14 years through her consulting practice and interim staff leadership positions. This work has included an array of services in sub-sectors that include international development, youth development, disability services, and in elder services.
THE WHY
All of this powerful learning and work has solidified a vision of a more just and equitable world, where those who are a traditionally underserved, systemically under-respected and/or unseen can become visible, respected and can thrive in new and glorious ways. Mission and operational clarity, along with leadership and team strength and balance allows all of that to flourish.
